Request an Examination Copy or Desk Copy

We offer examination and desk copies in both print and digital formats.

For print copies, UBC Press charges a $8.93 ($8.50 plus tax) shipping fee for each copy requested, and shipping charges may vary depending on location.
For digital copies, we can provide books in either e-pub (when available) or pdf formats.

Please note that all examination copies are provided at the publisher’s discretion and may only be obtained by eligible course instructors who wish to assess a potential textbook before placing a course order. For digital examination copies, you will have 60 days to review the book. If you should adopt the book for your course, we can send you an e-book that does not expire or a print copy.
