Behind the Curve follows the story of rising CO2 throughhistorical contexts, highlighting relationships among scientists,environmentalists, and politicians as those relationships changed overtime. While the “science first” forms of advocacyscientists developed to fight global warming produced more and betterresearch, the primacy of science in global warming politics has failedto produce meaningful results. We know much more about globalwarming than we did fifty years ago but CO2 continues to rise. Theproblem is not getting better – it's getting worse.Behind the Curve offers a critical and levelheaded look at howwe got there.
