David L. Gardiner

David L. Gardiner is Associate Professor of Religion at Colorado College. With degrees from Amherst College, University of Virginia, and Stanford University, his many publications focus on Kūkai and Vajrayāna Buddhism. As a graduate research fellow at Kyōto University, he studied under leading scholars of Shingon Buddhism at Kōyasan University.
