Vanina Bouté
Vanina Bouté is Professor in anthropology at the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (EHESS) in Paris. She has conducted extensive field research in northern Laos, working on the ethnogenesis of the Phunoi group and on the evolution of interethnic relations on the Chinese border.
