We proudly distribute books published by presses around the world. As such, many books listed on our website are not published by UBC Press. We cannot process requests for e-books by other publishers. Before submitting your request, please check the publisher name (under the author's name) to ensure it says UBC Press.

If you have adopted a UBC Press book for your course, contact us. Please include the book title, course name, course start date, and enrollment.

We are the proud distributor for many publishers within and outside of Canada. If you live outside of Canada, please note that we can only fill your request if the book has been published by UBC Press. Please check the publisher name (located under the book's title and author) before submitting your request. 

Please note that all examination and desk copies are provided at the publisher's discretion and may only be obtained by eligible course instructors who wish to assess a potential textbook before placing a course order.

For digital examination copies, you will have three months to review the book. If you choose to adopt the book for your course, we can send you an e-book that does not expire, or a print copy.
